The web has exploded with gossips that De Laurentiis had a fling with Mayer. Giada de Laurentiis, a wedded woman, was not entertained in the least. John Mayer was not amused either. His camp has denied it across the board. Gossip publications don’t win Pulitzers for a reason. Like spaghetti, some of them seem to throw anything at the wall and hope it sticks.
Rumors all over the web about Giada de Laurentiis
The rumor began flying on Wednesday, Nov. 10, that television chef Giada de Laurentiis had been seen out with John Mayer lately in New York. Both people deny any involvement with each other. As a matter of fact the Los Angeles times claims that Star magazine just made up the rumors. There is no relationship as outlined by both parties, only that they have meat up once to discuss something unrelated to a relationship at all. Giada de Laurentiis' representative requested an apology from the gossip magazine after spreading these rumors online. As it is Giada de Laurentiis doesn't just host "Everyday Italian," she is also already married and a mother. She also comes from a line of success. Movie producer Dino de Laurentiis is her grandpa.
Celebrity relationships make big bucks
Celebrity gossip is an enormous industry, and tabloid papers sell a lot of copies when a new tryst is reported, even if it didn’t actually happen. Rumors about John Mayer tend to make a large amount of money. John Mayer has tried to stay out of the spotlight after a napalm event when he discussed his relationship with Jessica Simpson. He even deleted his Twitter account. Jennifer Anniston had been said to have date him as well.
Perhaps we shouldn't call them celebrities
It's not just Americans who have an awful obsession with celebrities. Celebrities need to be less admired a lot more and people need better hobbies.
