Luxury automobile sales ascend in spite of economic woes

Surprisingly enough, luxury car sales are climbing . In fact, vehicle revenue are really increasing in general . Unfortunately, Volvo was the exception to the rule . Sales for the troubled Swedish auto firm have not been exceptional for some time. Mercedes Benz is apparently reaping the benefits much more than most, overtaking Lexus in sales . U.S. domestic luxury brands Cadillac and Lincoln have seen huge increases as well .

More luxury automobiles getting marketed

After several years of dismal economic news, perhaps the rich are feeling lucky enough to buy new cars . Luxury brands have been selling more. These gains were reported. USA Today accounts that a 43.8 percent gain in the first nine months of 2010 was reported by Cadillac . Gains were reported by other corporations too. These were high end brands as well. There were also gains with Infiniti, Acura, Audi and Porsche. Just since September 2009, all of these companies have seen a 25 percent gain. There was a 10 percent increase since that very same time from BMW and Lexus along with a brand that nobody seems to remember getting a 6 percent boost called Lincoln . Next year, the Lincoln will be advertised more. This is the plan of Ford Motor Co. The only business of high end cars that didn’t post a rise in revenue was Volvo .

Mercedes outsells Lexus

In September 2009, there was a huge drop in high end auto sales although they have increased for all within the last year . A 43.8 percent increase was posted by Cadillac for 2010. Of course, it really has only been an 11 percent boost since Sept 2009. Mercedes managed to sell the most luxurious cars since that time, increasing sales by 22 percent since January of 2010 . Lexus sold more vehicles by volume than Mercedes until September, when Mercedes managed to sell more automobiles than Lexus overall .

Incentives have disappeared

Luxury brand rewards are hard to discover. They just do not seem to exist anymore. The economic climate is doing better though since more individuals are purchasing high end autos and getting loans again .
