Kindle is going Android, Amazon has announced. Amazon is teaming up with Google this summer to give the iPhone a run for its money in e-reader functionality. The Kindle software is already offered by Amazon for the iPad, iPhone, Windows, Mac OS X, and Blackberry devices. With built in apps, the Android already sells Amazon music and streaming movies. Except that it took so long to happen, Kindle on the Android isn't any kind of surprise. Some say an Android tablet might be next.

Kindle for Android has downloads that are a key advantage. Kindle newspapers, magazines and blogs won’t be accessible on Kindle for Android.
Will the Android tablet be next?
