O'Donnell placed doubt with witchcraft confession

Tea Party Republican Senate candidate O’Donnell of Delaware has already made what has proven to be a dubious name for herself with some of the more controversial elements of personal background and campaign platform. First was the innovative way O’Donnell referred to her collegiate history. The born-again Protestant has also gone embarrassingly public with her anti-masturbation views. Of late, O’Donnell’s past has surfaced once more, including newer, stranger flavors to her political pie. On a 1999 episode of the Bill Maher talk show “Politically Incorrect,” O’Donnell said witchcraft had played a role in her life. She told the stunned panel that she had “dabbled in witchcraft.” Post resource – Christine O’Donnell tried witchcraft, continues hexing elections by Newystype.com.

O’Donnell’s witchcraft comment might point to Wicca

Christine O’Donnell may not know witchcraft, according to the Wiccan details available at the Australian website Witchcraft.com. To elaborate, O’Donnell claims that one time she went on a group date, the entire group was fascinated by what she claims was a “Satanic altar”. According to Witchcraft.com, Wicca is a term intended to counteract society’s negative stereotypes for that religious faith. Natural cycles and their beauty are celebrated in sacred ceremony that consists of nothing found in bad horror films. Nature is neither good nor evil, and such is the way Wicca is categorized. Whether Christine O’Donnell’s Senate aspirations will continue to endure is questionable, but fellow Republicans reportedly would love to determine her either keep quiet or vanish to the mists of Avalon.

‘I never joined a coven,’ said O’Donnell

So-called “witchcraft” was evidently a teenage phase for O’Donnell. O’Donnell isn’t a Wiccan now, however that does not matter much to the reputation cops of the political stage. Even GOP strategist exemplar Karl Rove is at a loss when it comes to bailing this woman out. He has clearly stated his belief that O’Donnell cannot win Delaware against her Democratic competition. Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana has called for O’Donnell to clarify her witchcraft statements. On “Fox News Sunday” lately, Rove even went so far as to say he is “seriously concerned” about O’Donnell’s history and character.

Governmental policies as floor exhibit

As if Christine O’Donnell and witchcraft weren’t enough, now Raw Story reports that the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington has filed a complaint against O’Donnell. Reported by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, O’Donnell allegedly used $ 20,000 of campaign money for her own personal needs. If O’Donnell is indeed guilty, such would not be unheard of in the game of politics. However, such actions are never acceptable. The concept of Christine O’Donnell claiming that she’s all about responsible government spending is interesting in this case, to say the least.
