Secret Society of Women offers anonymous sharing

There is yet another place online to share. The Secret Society of Women is built for women. The Secret Society was founded by journalist Ling. The site appears to have true staying power. It has only been around for a few months, however is already growing. Don't feel concerned, this is not yet another thing that you’d have to take out a personal loan simply to enroll in. Resource for this article – Secret Society of Women provides anonymous sharing by MoneyBlogNewz.

The reason for beginning the Secret Society of Women

Lisa Ling co-founded the Secret Society of Women website. After a miscarriage, Ling had been having a hard time. Then she said women needed “a confidential, anonymous community to share experiences and soak up advice and words of wisdom from other women.” The site went live in early Nov., and on Dec. 7 Ling announced the site on “The View.”.

Making a community to talk in

You will find two things encouraged by the Secret Society of Women's website. Building a community and sharing secrets are these two things. Sharing secrets can happen in various different areas. "Daily Wish," "Favorite Things" and "Wisdom" are all examples of categories available to post in. One has to register with a username and e-mail address if one is to post on the site although all sharing could be done anonymously.

Making secrets public on more than the Secret Society of Women

The Secret Society of Women is just the latest incarnation of secret-sharing online. Postcards with many peoples' secrets are posted on a blog called PostSecret which had a huge following. The anonymity that is available on the internet has been long used to develop communities based around secrets or very personal elements of one’s life. The Secret Society of Women is likely going to be very popular considering the following it has although it is just a general community.
